We Are All Candles Glowing Bright In The Cosmic Temple Of Light

Unknown to us all, the light found its way through,
Could have been some of the ignorant few,
Unaware of HIS presence on Earth,
A life of no worth,
Vain would have been this birth…

So why did He choose to let us know?
Why a peep at this Endless Treasure House in store?
He didn’t wake us up, for us to go back to sleep,
And weep,
At the time lost due to careless inertness,
And inert carelessness,

Oh! What grief…Oh! What stress,
We looked the other way, when the Master did us bless…

No amount of lament can bring time back,
Time smirks and we pay for being slack,
Youth is the time to invest,
Energy, enthusiasm and ideas are at their best,
Must we languish when we can fly free?
As Bhagwan says:
Start early,
Drive slowly
Reach safely….

Youth is the time to invest. Hence, the call to start early. And you drive slowly, being nurtured and moulded gently and carefully by the Lord, Himself. So then you reach safely, unencumbered.
For the Guide and the Goal are the same.

We are made up of elements five and each element gives us a message supreme.
Space is all pervading, our efforts, zeal and love should be so;
Air, so subtle yet vital for us to survive, and so should we subtly and silently reach out to all forms of life;
Fire gives each one of us warmth and energy, exhorting us to burn bright, a lighthouse of inspiration, consuming all obstacles along the way;
Water, cooling and quenching thirst; rivers meandering over hills, dales and rocks sweetly flowing, reaching out so unrestrictedly.
Why can’t we?
Earth, an epitome of motherhood, love in action… A giving that never ends. We  trample, spit, desecrate, dig and destroy, yet she blooms, flowers and sprouts beneficial yields. In spite of our uncaring, unresponsive, irresponsible and disrespectful ways, ceaseless is the flow from her bounty.

God is worshipped only in pictures, images, idols. He is not recognised in all living beings, in beauty, harmony, melody, truth and goodness. – Baba

See God in everyone you meet; See God in everything you handle; Live together; Revere each other; Let not the seeds of envy and hate grow and choke the clear stream of love. – Baba

In the words of Swami Vivekananda: “Get up and set your shoulder to the wheel – how long is this life for? As you have come into this world, leave some mark behind. Otherwise what is the difference between you and the trees and stones? They too come into existence, decay and die.”

Find a mission in life and take it seriously. – Dr William C Meninger

All life – plant and animals are my devotees. All are our fellow passengers in the journey of life. No life will be a failure. – Baba

So then, why are we holding back?  The sands of time are waiting for our exclusive footprints.
Can a bud remain static, forever oblivious to its fragrance and colour?
Is the Sun at any time ignorant of its distinct brilliance or its duty?
Can boulders impede the flow of a river towards its destination – the Ocean?
Doesn’t darkness sulk and creep away, when enters light of day?
When will we our ways mend?
When will atrocities end? Why the delay? Where are we going? Why this lethargy, hesitation, procrastination to overcome and become…to strive towards our goal?
How shall we answer our Master’s call?
Will we be able to look into His eyes when we meet Him?
When will we learn, that to please our Beloved Lord, who loves us so much, all we need to do is: Love All, Serve All; Help Ever, Hurt Never…

Why is something so simple…so elusive…so difficult…so impossible to emulate?

Come, let us step forward…light up the way for ourselves as well as  others. Let us know the truth and experience this vista…this most wondrous sight –
The entire Universe is a place of worship…a shrine…a tabernacle and we are all candles glowing bright in this Cosmic Temple Of Light.
